Im Herzen der ruhigen Ardennen-Landschaften in der Nähe von St. Vith, steht das Suyaki-Haus als markantes Meisterwerk. Dieses Projekt, das Suyaki von Nakamoto Forestry nutzt, vereint traditionelle japanische Yakisugi (Shou Sugi Ban) Holzkonservierungsmethoden mit einer schlanken, modernen und klar europäischen Designphilosophie.
Mit seiner Kohle-schwarzen Suyaki-Verkleidung zieht das Haus die Blicke auf sich und bietet einen atemberaubenden visuellen Kontrast zum üppigen Grün der ostbelgischen Landschaft.
